Dan Lehman Named Jordan Public Schools Facilities Director

Jordan Public Schools (JPS) is pleased to announce Dan Lehman as the new Facilities Director.

Dan was born and raised in Shakopee, Minnesota, and comes to Jordan Public Schools with a depth of experience and knowledge. Dan had been serving as the Head Custodian with Eastern Carver County Schools since July of 2021. His prior experience includes 10 years on the custodial team and as a Locksmith with Shakopee Public Schools and 10 years with McDonald’s in a managerial role. Additionally, he holds a Chief C Boiler License, a Registered Unlicensed Electrician License and is Minnesota Educational Facility Management Professionals (MASMS) Certified as a Facilities Director.

Dan is looking forward to getting to know the JPS buildings and grounds more in depth and working with the staff to implement changes that will make our school district safer and more functional for our students, staff, and families. He hopes placing a priority on health and safety will make our district appealing for current and future families as the Jordan community grows.

Outside of school, Dan enjoys spending time with his wife, Ashley, and two children, Jacob and Katelyn. He’s involved with their sports teams and has previously coached youth wrestling.

Superintendent Ranae Case Evenson noted “I’m incredibly excited to have Dan join the Jordan Public Schools leadership team. His knowledge and skillset will be an asset to our school community as he builds relationships with our staff and seeks solutions that will better our district buildings and grounds! I can’t wait to see what this school year brings for our amazing Facilities team!”
