• REGISTRATION DUE FOR MEALS FOR WEEK OF OCTOBER 19 and OCTOBER 26
    Registeration for free take-home meals for the weeks of October 19 and October 26 will close on Thursday, October 15 at 9:00pm. Due to planning, food, and labor costs, we ask that families only register for meals they intend to pick up. If you register for meals that you no longer wish to take, please contact Nutritional Services at 952-492-4417. Registration forms will be eamiled to families every two weeks.


    NEW! FREE SCHOOL BREAKFAST AND LUNCH UNDER NEW PROGRAM BEGINNING MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 21
    Jordan Public Schools Nutritional Services will be offering meals at NO COST to students Preschool - Grade 12 regardless of income. FREE meals will be available starting Monday, September 21, 2020 through December 31st, 2020 or until USDA funding is exhausted.

    GRADES KINDERGARTEN -12 RECEIVE FREE TAKE-HOME MEALS
    In order to receive meals for students on the days that they are learning from home (for hybrid off-site students and Jordan Virtual Academy students), parents/guardians MUST REGISTER for meals for each student. Please note: You do not need to order meals for students’ on-site days.

    HYBRID LEARNING STUDENTS – GRADE 7-12 ONLY:

    • Registrants will receive 3 MEALS each week (unless there is a no school day).
    • Meals will be sent home with student on the day they are in school.
    • Take-home meals will be handed out at the end of the day.
    • You will have the option to choose breakfast in addition to lunch.
    • Students receiving free/reduced meal benefits will get a free breakfast and lunch – but you must register on this form.

    JORDAN VIRTUAL ACADEMY STUDENTS – GRADES K-12:

    • Registrants will receive 5 MEALS each week (picked up two times during the week)(unless there is a no school day).
    • Families will pick up meals TWICE a week (Mondays and Thursdays).
    • JVA meal pick up will take place at the MIDDLE SCHOOL front door from 1:00pm - 2:00pm on Mondays and Thursdays.
    • MONDAY pick up will receive meals for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday.
    • THURSDAY pick up will receive meals for Thursday and Friday.
    • You will have the option to choose breakfast in addition to lunch.
    • Students receiving free/reduced meal benefits will get a free breakfast and lunch – but you must register on this form.

    TAKE-HOME MEAL REGISTRATION
    Families may request take-home meals for their student(s). The registration form will be emailed to families every two weeks. This form only applies to students in Grade 7-12 or students registered for the Jordan Virtual Academy. (Hybrid learning students preK-6 will receive their free meals when on-site).

    TAKE-HOME MEAL COSTS:
    Like on-site meals, there will be no cost to take-home meals available starting Monday, September 21, 2020 through December 31st, 2020 or until USDA funding is exhausted. Take-home meals are currently being offered to JMS Grades 7-8, JHS Grades 9-12, and ALL K-12 Jordan Virtual Academy students only.

    A:  YES! If you have not already applied for meal benefits this school year, please submit an application. Once the USDA program funds are gone, meals will be charged based on the student’s meal benefit eligibility.

    A:  NO. At this time we will not be delivering meals or using community pickup locations. Students in the Virtual Academy will pick up their registered meals at the Middle School on Mondays and Thursday from 1:00pm - 2:00pm.
