Two individuals to be inducted into the Jordan Public Schools Hall of Fame on October 4th, 2024.
Jordan Public Schools (JPS) will host a Hall of Fame induction ceremony on Friday, October 4, 2024, at 5:00pm in the Jordan High School (JHS) auditorium. Being honored in this ceremony will be two individuals with lifetime accomplishments in athletics and contributions to Jordan Public Schools.
Individual participants will include:

Josie (Nelson) Henry, for Athletics, JHS Class of 2000
Two-sport athlete at JHS in volleyball and softball, 4 time MVP of the Minnesota River Conference in Softball. Holds the career record for strikeouts as a pitcher and also hit for a career .378 average. Excelled as a college player for Ashland University where she was an NCAA Division II 3rd-Team All-American in 2003. Is the Head Softball Coach at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.

Brittany Chambers, for Athletics, JHS Class of 2009
Three-sport athlete at JHS in volleyball, basketball and track. A two-time All-State selection in basketball, she was also a 2009 McDonald’s All-American nominee. On the Volleyball court, she was also a four-time All-State Selection and 2009 Class AA Gatorade Player of the Year. Went on to star in basketball at Kansas State University before being drafted by the WNBA’s Los Angeles Sparks and playing professionally in Spain. Is an Internal Medicine Physician at KU Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas.
The induction ceremony for the two individual participants will be open to the public. Following the induction ceremony, the Hall of Fame inductees will be honored at halftime of the Homecoming football game at Ames Field.
