Course Descriptions

Two Course Options:
Competitive Sports would focus on competitive team/individual/fitness activities. Activities would include all major team and individual sports at a higher competitive level. Class will focus on participation in activities such as golf, tennis, badminton, pickleball, table tennis, archery, cross country running, inline skating, lawn games, and strength training. Team games will continue to be played. Personal fitness tests will be assessed in the following areas: cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, muscular endurance, and flexibility. The body composition and weight management unit will continue and will include a three day diet log and analysis.
Fitness for Life would focus more on individual fitness/sports/activities. Class will focus on participation in a variety of sports at a less competitive level and would emphasize on lifetime fitness activities. These activities would include; aerobics, yoga, zumba, and pilates. Personal fitness tests will be assessed in the following areas: cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, muscular endurance, and flexibility. The body composition and weight management unit will continue and will include a three day diet log and analysis.
