- I have taught Physical Education in several public schools since 2003, and in the Jordan School District since 2013. I started teaching Driver Education through Jordan Community Education in 2016. I believe that teaching our students to drive safely using safe and helpful driving habits is a service to them and to our whole community. Keeping our roads safe and our young drivers informed is important for all families. I have been married to my wife, Laurie, since 2002. We live in Eden Prairie with our three children, Emmett, Annie, and Graham. We enjoy the outdoors by fishing, waterskiing, hiking, and paddleboarding. I have enjoyed competing in local short to mid-distance triathlons since 2008, completing a Half Ironman in 2019.
- I was born and raised in Chisago Lakes, and I’m excited to start my 17th years of public education. I taught Social Studies and Driver’s Education in Chaska and Chanhassen before moving into Administrative roles. I was Administrative Dean at Chanhassen High School for three years, before taking a role at Jordan Public Schools as Activities Director and Middle School Assistant Principal for the 2016-2017 school year. Then served as Assistant Principal/Athletics Director at Chanhassen High School for almost 5 years, and from January 2022- January of 2023 I worked as a school district consultant with SitelogIQ. I have considered Jordan home for 15 years and I'm looking forward to serving our ever growing community and to make sure Jordan Community Education and Recreation is meeting the needs of all community members. I'm excited to reconnect with our families and community through course offerings from birth through graduation and into adulthood. I want the Jordan community members to know that my door will always be open and I cannot wait to share the experience of Community Education and Recreation alongside our students, staff, families and community members. I started teaching Driver’s Education at Jordan Community Education in 2007 and even owned my own driving school for almost 5 years before entering the world of administration. I’m super excited to be back teaching behind the wheel in Jordan and I’m looking forward to provide a first class experience for your child. I absolutely love teaching driver’s education, especially behind the wheel, as it’s an important life skill for many. Outside of Community Education and Recreation, I enjoy spending time with my wife Jen, and three children, Avery, Harper and Beckett. We enjoy being outside and partaking in everything that Minnesota has to offer including Minnesota Vikings and Minnesota Twins games! I have also been actively involved with student athletics, serving as a baseball and football coach for many years.
- I'm Tony Kusske, an educator at Jordan Public Schools for seven years. Recently, I started teaching Driver Education, finding it incredibly rewarding. Ensuring road safety is a priority for me, especially for new drivers in our community. As a long-time resident of Jordan, I actively contribute to the community and appreciate friendly interactions. If you see our Driver Education vehicles, give them a wave! Outside of work, I enjoy time with my wife, Jenny, and our two sons, Maverick and Franklin, whether it's cabin trips, sports, or snowmobiling.
