LEARN MORE

  • The Scott West Nordic Ski Club is a new program that Jordan and Belle Plaine Community Ed and Activities Department have created together in the pursuit to have a MSHSL Team in the 2020-2021 school year. This program will be led by Coach Lisa Jamison who has experience in Nordic Ski. The students will learn the basic fundamentals of classic and skate skiing.

Students will develop their strength, conditioning, and technique through a combination of dryland training as well as in snow training on and off skis. The class will meet at Jordan High School for the first three weeks and then at the Ney Nature Center. All locations will depend on weather. There will be opportunities for aerobic workouts indoors when there is inclement weather.

All athletes are responsible for their own transportation and equipment rental/purchase.
