Science Teacher
I chose education because I love working with kids. I enjoy teaching science because it opens the students' eyes to the world in which we live. Science can be connected to our every day lives in so many ways. Over the years I have discovered that I learn so much from my students and they open my eyes to many things as well. The students' willingness to learn and their interest in a variety of topics make teaching enjoyable each and every day.

Mrs. Swanke

Reading/Language Arts Teacher
Ever since I was a little girl, I dreamed of being a teacher.  I have always loved the distinct smell of school supplies and books.  Many of my friends, uncles, and cousins are educators.  It is inspiring to know that being an educator can make a significant difference in the lives of young people.  I am passionate about getting to know each student of mine.  I am passionate about encouraging them to let their unique light shine!
