Jordan High School (JHS) is thrilled to announce Coach Ben Nylander named a 2023 Regional winner of the Positive Coaching Alliance’s (PCA) Double-Goal Coach® Award presented by TeamSnap.
“It was an honor to nominate Coach Nylander for this award. He has done so much for our Cross Country and Track and Field athletes with his K-12 approach. His positivity made him the perfect choice for the Positive Coaching Alliance's Double-Goal Coach® Award. We are very proud of Coach Nylander,” remarked Joe Perkl, Activities Director for Jordan Public Schools.
“I have had the pleasure of working with Mr. Nylander as an Activities Director, parent, and Principal. Mr. Nylander shows great enthusiasm for our students in all facets of their lives. He is very deserving of this honor,“ Jeff Vizenor, Jordan High School Principal, noted with agreement.
“We are so fortunate to have received so many outstanding nominations for coaches who inspire their athletes in and outside of sports. Thank you to each and every coach who is doing their part to ensure a positive youth sports experience for all! And, thank you to the many people who nominated them so that we could highlight their accomplishments,” noted the PCA’s Regional Winners website.
Coach Nylander has been a teacher with Jordan Public Schools since 2007, first at Jordan Middle School, and most recently as a Science Teacher at Jordan High School.
