IMMEDIATE RELEASE 02/02/23
Jordan Public Schools (JPS) is pleased to announce Cullen Bahn as the new Jordan Community Education and Recreation Director.
Cullen was born and raised in Chisago Lakes, and comes to Jordan Public Schools with a strong background in Education and serving school communities. Cullen taught history and government in Chaska and Chanhassen before moving into Administrative roles. He was Administrative Dean at Chanhassen High School for three years, before taking a role at Jordan Public Schools as Activities Director and Middle School Assistant Principal for the 2016-2017 school year. Since then, he has served as Assistant Principal/Athletics Director at Chanhassen High School and as a school district consultant with SitelogIQ.
Cullen has considered Jordan home for 13 years and is looking forward to serving our ever growing community to make sure Jordan Community Education and Recreation is meeting the needs of all community members. He’s excited to reconnect with our families and community through course offerings from birth through graduation and into adulthood. He wants Jordan community members to know that his door will always be open and he cannot wait to share the experience of Community Education and Recreation alongside our students, staff, families and community members.
Outside of Community Education and Recreation, Cullen enjoys spending time with his wife Jen, and three children, Avery, Harper and Beckett. They enjoy being outside and partaking in everything that Minnesota has to offer including Minnesota Vikings and Minnesota Twins games! Cullen has also been actively involved with student athletics, serving as a baseball coach for many years.
Superintendent Ranae Case Evenson noted “I’m so excited to welcome Cullen back to Jordan Public Schools in his new role. His knowledge, skillset and ties to our community will be an incredible asset as we look to continue building strong relationships between school and community! I can’t wait to see what the future holds for our Jordan Community Education and Recreation department!”
