Ben Bakeberg named new Jordan Middle School Principal

Jordan Public Schools (JPS) is excited to announce Ben Bakeberg as the new principal for Jordan Middle School. Ben replaces Lance Chambers who will retire following the current school year.
Mr. Bakeberg currently serves as the Middle and High School Principal at Heritage Christian Academy in Maple Grove, Minnesota.
Superintendent Matt Helgerson shared in announcement to JPS staff that, “Mr. Bakeberg will be a great addition to our District. He will be a wonderful listener, thoughtful decision maker, and innovative leader for our middle school. His K-12 experiences as a teacher, coach, and administrator have thoroughly prepared him for this position.”
Prior to leading the the middle and high school at Heritage, Ben served as the assistant principal at Saint Michael-Albertville Middle School East for five years.  He began his administrative career at Milaca Elementary following five years of teaching and coaching with the Jordan Public Schools.  All totaled Ben has over 15 years devoted to the development of young people through teaching, coaching, and administration.  
Ben, his wife Lindy and children (Aliyah 12, Brock 10, and Lincoln 3) look forward to becoming active members of the Jordan community.  They will be moving to Jordan this summer once their home in Rogers is sold.
