Cullen Bahn named new Middle School Assistant Principal/District Activities Director
Jordan Public Schools (JPS) is excited to announce Cullen Bahn as the new Middle School Assistant Principal/District Activities Director.
Cullen has been serving as an Administrative Dean at Chanhassen High School and will join Jordan Public Schools beginning July 1, 2016 with extensive experience as a teacher, successful coach, and administrator.
Cullen was raised in the small town of Center City, Minnesota. He went on to receive his Bachelor of Science Degree in teaching from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Later, he pursued further studies and received his Master’s in Teaching and Learning from St. Mary’s University and then went on to earn his Administrative Specialist Degree from Minnesota State University.
Cullen began his career teaching 9th grade world history at Pioneer Ridge Freshman Center in Chaska, MN, followed by teaching 10th and 12th grade history and government at Chanhassen High School for 5 years. While at Chanhassen, he was also recognized as a teacher of the year finalist and also served as the head varsity baseball coach for three years. He has been involved with, and led, a number of different committees including: PBIS, Ramp Up to Readiness, social studies department chair, integration of flex scheduler, and secondary design team.
Outside of school, Cullen is the father of three children and his wife Jen is a 1st grade teacher at Jordan Elementary. As a family, they love to be outside enjoying everything Jordan has to offer. With excitement, Cullen shared how he looks forward to supporting students and showcasing the many talents and hard work of Jordan Public Schools.
Cullen will be a wonderful addition to the Jordan School District and administrative team.
