We are BUILDING for the FUTURE of the District and our Students
We are an ACADEMIC and FINE ARTS LEADER in the MRC Conference
The mission of Jordan Public Schools is to Inspire a caring community to ignite learning, innovation, and success for all. We are located on Highway 169, just nine miles south of Shakopee and 30 minutes south of Minneapolis/St.Paul, in the beautiful Minnesota River Valley. The population of Jordan is approximately 6,000. Our unique student and family friendly single campus has excellent facilities and located near many residential areas, including the historic downtown and a new public library are within walking distance of the school campus. Our high school was built in 2003 and we are excited for the finished complete renovation of our middle school building with the adjacent construction of the new 45,000 square foot Jordan Community Education and Recreation Center (CERC).
Jordan students consistently score at the top of the Minnesota River Conference and our athletic and fine arts are second to none.

We are excited for the 1:1 Technology Program with students in grades 5-12 receiving Chromebook Flip devices for the 2015-2016 academic year.

In addition, we have exciting changes coming to our Athletic Complex to include additional ball fields and Ames Field, a generously donated turf field.

Early Education is the foundation of all learning. We are happy to provide a variety of highly rated Parent Aware early education programs to include ECFE and preschool.

Jordan Elementary School a MN Department of Education "Reward School", focuses on the academic and social-emotional developmentof students where safety, respect andresponsibility are integrated into all areasof the school. Specialists are available in Special Education, English Learners, Title One services, Gifted and Talented programming and a variety of other intervention programs including co-curricular activities and after-school academic support. JES engages and empowers students to become 21st Century learners where technology is embedded in the daily curriculum.

The goal of Jordan Middle School is to serve as a transition from the elementary to the high school. Each day, an advisor-advisee program is used to build relationships in a small group environment. JMS offers honors courses, exploratory classes for grades 5-8 and electives for grades 7-8 (Drama, STEM, Spanish, Fitness, Speech, and Multimedia). Students may also elect to participate in a variety of clubs and co-curricular activities as well as after-school academic support. A partnership with the University of Minnesota’s Ramp up to Readiness program is an exciting addition to the 6-8 advisory curriculum.

Jordan High School offers a comprehensive secondary programincluding college preparation, vocational programs, athletics and fine arts. Students have the chance to excel at JHS through honors, AP, and College in the Schools/Concurrent Enrollment classes. We are proud that our Class of 2016 graduates earned over 600 college credits without ever leaving the building.
Jordan Community Education and Recreation thrives with its many offerings to our community and students. There is something for everyone in our youth or adult recreation and enrichment offerings and trips. We offer Kids Company, a popular before and after school age care program for students through 6th grade. On March 11th, 2014, the community of Jordan voted to renovate the existing middle school and also to add a new, adjacent Jordan Community Education and Recreation Center (CERC). This new 45,000 square foot space will include a 3-gym station with a multipurpose floor, an elevated walking track, a fitness center, community locker rooms, and a community room with kitchenette.
